Talents of the Kingdom

Worldlight’s TOK exists to develop the gifts of men, women, and children in order for them to serve in the Kingdom of God. The program aims to combine “Show and Tell” with the biblical mandate to “Go and tell” (Mark 16:15). In short, Worldlight’s Talents of the Kingdom is evangelism through talent development and mastery.

Our Values

We hope that the programs we create, both ourselves and those in partnership with other organizations, would emphasize the use of talents as opposed to an emphasis on learning about the talents and how to use them. We hope our programs will not be overly technical but more practical. We can achieve this by ensuring that participants have the opportunity to practice using their talent (whether singing or creating other works of art), on day one of the program. This might also mean that the participants learn by first exercising their talent, allowing room for making mistakes, then, learning from the mistakes.

Using Talents to Serve Greater Purpose

Putting Skills into Practice

Our Programs are designed to be goal-oriented. We want those goals to be realized not only by those facilitating the program but the participants themselves.

Goals range from knowledge gain, to work of art produced. We want all participants to have some tangible evidence that they have achieved something by participating in the program.

Evidence of Achievement

Goal Realization, Knowledge Acquired,

We believe that all talents are God-given. Thus, all talents are God-purposed. The purpose is to give God glory. If God creates something, He leaves His signature on it so that His creation can point back to the creator. We want to teach participants to see God’s heart, and character in the perfect use of His talents.

Finding Christ

Learning to See Christ in All We Do Skills

We believe that utilizing and mastering one's talents strengthens their walk with the Lord and fosters self-realization in Christ. We believe that our talents were chosen specifically by God and this makes them unique to each of us.

By aligning our talents with their inherent purpose of glorifying God, we learn more about God’s purposeful intent for each of us, individually, to glorify Him. At our perfection, humanity collectively sing a beautiful harmony unto the Lord with each individual adding their unique note to the song dedicated to Him.
